Southeastern Services LLC is looking for a Controller to lead the accounting team and partner closely with operations leadership.

Key duties include but are not limited to the following:

-Lead all accounting functions, including Accounts receivable, Accounts payable,

-Payroll accounting, Fixed assets, Job costing and Revenue recognition.

-Perform month-end close and monthly financial reporting.

-Analyze contracts in progress for percentage of completion accounting.

-Provide strategic financial input to the operations team.

-Monitor cash/available funds and report to management.

-Sales tax, property tax and other business tax filings.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
-CPA preferred but not required.
-Minimum of seven years relevant experience.
-Construction industry experience preferred.
-Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
-Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Proficient in use of software applications such as Microsoft Office.
-Experience with accounting software such as Sage or Quickbooks.
